Poetry slams are energetic performance poetry competitions where the emphasis is on the connection between the performer and the audience. Poems are judged on content, delivery, and originality, but that said, the points are not the point, the poetry is!

STFD is proud to present our brand new troupe, Off The Hinges! This newly formed group is made up of Masterclass alumni who began their improv journeys with STFD! Under the guidance of Sam Tall, Off The Hinges has been practicing a variety of short form games as they look to make a splash in the London improv scene!

PENSKY FILE Pensky File was a staple in the London music scene in the late 90s and early 2000's playing over a thousand shows with residencies at the Ceeps and a 5 year run as the House Band at GT's, while playing college campuses across the province. Justin Maki is a 23 year-old acoustic singer-songwriter out of London, Ontario. His compositions are a fusion of passionately sung melodies and elaborate vocal harmonies.

Aside from performing at around 20 bars/clubs in South Western Ontario, Justin’s new band managed to win Western University’s Battle of the Bands in 2015, granting them the privilege of opening for Canadian rock band Monster Truck.

It's the sound of Staples Singers-inspired southern harmony, tremolo-drenched baritone guitar, with a late-sixties New Orleans-style rhythm section and the gurgle of a Hammond organ driving it along with the unmistakable and distinctive voice of Jon Knight.

Matt Weidinger has a voice like no other. The 24-year-old Kitchener, ON native is a passionate young songwriter, who is well known for his mature rock/soul vocals and impressive multi-instrumental (keyboards, guitars) talents.
