WIRED TO THE SKY wsg's Yess Woah & Misha Bower    Wired To The Sky is the always evolving solo project of Canadian songwriter, Dylan Perkons. After relocating from Montreal to the West Coast he began performing new material, frequently collaborating with a rotating cast of Vancouver Island musicians. In late 2016 the band entered the studio to record their debut album, produced by Juno Award-winner Colin Stewart (Dan Mangan, Black Mountain, Yukon Blonde). The upcoming 2017 release, titled Steady Sparrow, Steady Flight finds Perkons' residing comfortably in a post-Americana landscape. Though his dusty baritone remains at the front and center of the album, the dynamic arrangements carry the listener through the songs.

STEVE STRONGMAN wsg CARLOS DEL JUNCO

Presented by KARMA, LMC, Turner Drugs & Big Rock Brewery & Jack Richardson London Music Awards.

Juno-winner Steve Strongman returns to the LMC... Award-winning Canadian bluesman Steve Strongman is a versatile talent, and a restless one. By constantly pushing himself in new directions, he has kept himself vital. His talent is huge and impossible to miss, and it's matched by his staggering musical ambition... as guitar-slinger, songwriter or vocalist.

********

"Really outstanding. Carlos del Junco is happening!!!!!"  - Charlie Musselwhite.

To say he plays the harmonica is like saying "Jimi Hendrix plays guitar". He blows the blues harp through a prism -- suddenly it seems he's holding every color in the musical rainbow right there in his hands.

PAUL DESLAURIERS Band

Presented by KARMA, LMC, Turner Drugs & Big Rock Brewery & Jack Richardson London Music Awards.

Crowned Entertainer of the Year for the second year in a row at the 21st annual Maple Blues Awards held on January 15th 2018 in Toronto, Canada!

DesLauriers's fiery guitar playing throughout, combined with Harrisson's polyrythmic drumming under Morency's sinewy bass lines, makes this CD sound like a thick, juicy blues stew combining the best elements of Hendrix, Thorogood, Trower and ZZ Top, with a dash of Greg Allman thrown in.  Charlie Frazier, Blues Music Magazine, USA - October 2016.
This one hit me in the face like a barbequed steak hurled across the room ! 5 stars !  John Kereiff, The Rock Doctor Reviews, Gonzookanagan, Canada - July 2016.
