An eclectic evening of song inspired by Ellen's journey to write her first play Wonder, based on the life of her great-great-aunt Harriet Brooks, Canada's first female nuclear physicist.

SHAWN ANDREW wsg Gina Luck

Born in Canada and raised in Portugal, Shawn Andrew is a singer-songwriter, composer, musician and music teacher based in London Ontario.

Growing up in a small village of the Northeast of Portugal named Benlhevai, where he formed is first rock band, called smackthepone. They performed mainly in the north of Portugal at bars and outdoors local festivals. Shawn was also busy collaborating with other music groups such as Philharmonic Band of Vila Flor and the poco a poco ensemble from the Municipal Conservatoire of Bragança as well as others.
Shawn began to pursue a musical career upon graduating with a bacheloor’s degree in Elementary Education and Music Education from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança in Portugal.
